Dan Shiovitz

Dan Shiovitz is an author of interactive fiction, most notably Bad Machine, Max Blaster and Doris de Lightning Against the Parrot Creatures of Venus and as one of the contributors to the The Mystery House Taken Over project. Along with his own IF works, he has been dedicating to reviewing IF works for over eight years. Both his works and reviews can be found on his "IF Stuff" website. He has also written several theoretical essays on IF, notably "How to Write a Great Game."

In addition to his contributions to the IF community as a writer, Shiovitz is the programmer behind many technological innovations meant to assist IF writers, including the IF language Snap! and the TADS2 interrupter, Jetty.
