Kate Pullinger

Kate Pullinger was born in British Columbia and after a period of traveling--including a period of "crushing rocks and making money"--ended up in London, England. She is the author of several books, including A Little Stranger (2004), Weird Sister (1999), and Where Does Kissing End? (1992) Along with sher books, Pullinger writes for film and digital projects including Flight Paths, The Breathing Wall--a collaborative work with babel and Stefan Schemat. Her most recent digital work is http://www.inanimatealice.com/, a "multimedia graphic novel in episodes."

Pullinger has taught throughout England, including London Metropolitan University, The trAce Online Writing Centre. She currently serves as Reader in Creative Writing and New Media at the De Montfort University, Leicester.
