Talan Memmott

Talan Memmott is a hypermedia artist/writer from San Francisco, California. He comes to writing from a background in fine art, having studied painting, installation, video and performance art, as well as critical theory. His work Lexia to Perplexia has won numerous awards. Memmott currently works in the multimedia field as Production Director for the web development firm PERCEPTICON. He is the Creative Director and Editor of the online hypermedia literary journal BeeHive. He holds an MFA in Literary Arts/Electronic Writing from Brown University. He has taught at Blekinge Tekniska Hogskola in Karlskrona, Sweden as well as The University of Colorado, Boulder, RISD, and Georgia Tech. Memmott is Assistant Professor of New Media in the Teledramatic Arts and Technology Department at California State University Monterey Bay.
