Donna Leishman

Donna was born in 1976 and still works in Scotland. She has worked as a designer for Bullseyeart (NYC), BlackID (UK) and freelanced for Itsnotrocketscience and Flamjam.. Donna earned her Ph.D. in 2004. Her works include RedRidingHood and Deviant: The Possession of Christian Shaw. These pieces and others can be found at her web site. Donna teaches new media design as Course Director for the BA (Hons) in Illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Scotland.

Outside the academy, Donna was an Emmy award nominee for her work on The Rosie O'Donnell Show. Her responsive animations have also been showcased in both the New York Times and the Guardian Online.
